Job Summary

Advocate IT is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst / Workflow Developer to support a high-visibility State of Maryland initiative focused on modernizing enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) operations. This role will be instrumental in translating complex business and security requirements into scalable, automated ServiceNow workflows that streamline identity lifecycle management, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen access governance. The selected candidate will play a critical role in enabling a centralized, secure, and repeatable IAM framework across a dynamic, enterprise IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirements gathering and business analysis
  • Translate requirements into process flows and workflow designs
  • Design and configure ServiceNow workflows
  • Develop forms, catalog items, and automation logic
  • Support UAT and deployment
  • Integrate workflows with Entra ID and Active Directory
  • Maintain documentation and support process improvements
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow or IT business analysis experience
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow workflows
  • Experience with ITSM processes and workflow automation
  • Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
Preferred Certifications
  • ServiceNow CSA
  • ServiceNow CIS
